Part-Time Recruiter (Temporary)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Recruiter to support our hiring efforts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys full-cycle recruiting, candidate engagement, and partnering closely with hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers through alignment calls to define role requirements and hiring needs
  • Utilize an applicant tracking system (ATS) to review and manage candidate applications (training provided)
  • Screen resumes and identify qualified candidates
  • Coordinate candidate communications, including interview scheduling and updates
  • Conduct phone and video interviews to assess candidate qualifications
  • Develop and present candidate shortlists with detailed notes to hiring managers
  • Actively source candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed

Qualifications

  • 1-2+ years of recruiting experience
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience sourcing candidates via job boards such as Indeed and LinkedIn
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality

Position Details

  • Pay: $30-$35 per hour
  • Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility based on business needs
    • Preferred schedule spread across 4-5 days per week
  • Location: Remote (with optional in-office access in the Bloomington area)
  • Employment Type: Temporary (90 days) with potential for extension
